Hello London Masters Laxers,
Get excited because our first run of the 2025 season is starting tonight – WEDNESDAY, April 23 from 8:30pm-10:00pm at Earl Nichols Arena (Pad B).
The first two weeks of the season we will scrimmage to help everyone shake the rust off and get their legs and lungs back in shape. We will start the first season series with set teams on the third week of the season.
This is a slightly longer email so please stick with me as we have our reminders and rules. Please take a minute for a rules refresher (even if ‘you know the rules’). Also, if you are a returning player, please bring your pinnie.
Reminders
- New Venue: We’re moving to Earl Nichols Arena (Pad B) this year for a number of reasons, including better floor conditions and support. Additionally, Kinsmen Arena will be undergoing renovations possibly this year and for sure next, making Earl Nichols the ideal choice for our league’s needs moving forward.
- Floor time: Wednesdays, 8:30pm-10:00pm, April 23 to August 27 @Nichols
- Post-Game Hangout: We’ll be heading to Mustang Sally’s for refreshments after games.
- Social Media: Follow us on Instagram at @londonmasterslacrosse, we will be posting reminders and news there as well and watching Mark give the updates while wearing his lacrosse bucket is pretty hilarious
- Timekeeper: We are still looking for a timekeeper, so if you know someone please reach out. It is a paid position.
