Team Lia and Team Sharley entered the evening 1 point apart in the standings and left the arena with no change in position.

In the early game Team Dirka, with only 6 runners, couldn’t solve Justin for more than a couple of goals leading to a final score of Team Sharley 9 – Team Dirka 2.

In the late game, speed and good ball movement was evident but in this game it was Team Jacquie that was unable to solve Justin – final score Team Lia 9 – Team Jacquie 5.

With Team Lia on top of the regular season standings by a single point and scheduled to play Team Sharley in the final game of the regular season, we should be assured of a pretty good game that will crown an undisputed champion for the LMHLL Summer 2018 regular season.

As with past years we will be switching goalies at the half way point of each playoff game and the top ranked team gets to choose from available goaltenders as to who will start for their team. Is strategy important…maybe?
